If you're like us, these stories did more than just move you, they inspired action. If so, we get it and welcome you to the movement! There are a lot of different ways you can get involved, please find what is right for you! Here is a list of organizations that offer a variety of levels of involvement. Your passion and creativity are appreciated - this is not one of those web pages just asking for donations.
United we Dream is a nonprofit organization led by immigrant young people that uses national organizing strategies to defend the rights of immigrants regardless of status. Various levels of involvement accepted - just click here and fill out the Take Action form and they will email you with how you can help.

Protection for All is a new movement led by DACA students. The focus of the movement is to seek deportation protection for all immigrants, regardless of status. Instead of focusing on legislation that focuses on protection for individuals who came into the United States as children, it focuses on de-criminalizing undocumented immigrants by seeking legislation that offers comprehensive immigration reform for immigrants of all ages and circumstances. Illinois Coalition for Immigration Rights is an Illinois based coalition that organizes, educates and advocates for immigrants and refugees. They provide a variety of different opportunities such as teaching Know Your Rights workshops or aiding in citizenship applications. Click the link to volunteer!

Rise and Organize is a grassroots community organizing group that focuses its efforts on using advocacy to improve local communities. It encourages everyday citizens to get involved in activism, focusing on issues such as immigration reform, community violence and healthcare disparities.
